Little Foragers has partnered with The Madeline Island Library to provide scholarship funding for island families. This guarantees all families access to affordable programming that promotes outdoor education and community partnership.

Thank you.

The cost of the program is $100 per day (9-3pm) providing programming twice a week (Tues/Thur). The program operates on a sliding scale to remain affordable to all families.

Outdoor education is a wonderful mix of minimalist learning and essential gear. To be able to teach outdoor immersion, gear can make or break the experience. Little Foragers strives to provide sustainable and quality gear. Little Foragers Amazon Wishlist.

For Donors

If you would like to donate specifically to the Little Foragers Scholarship Fund, please give a tax deductible donation to the Madeline Island Library. They have set up a designated fund that will be used for Little Foragers tuition.

If you would like to donate directly to the Little Foragers, please contact Samantha to learn more about the best ways to give. Thank you!

One way to give in 2024 is to join Samantha on Sunday, September 22nd for an open house mushroom foray and picnic on site where Little Foragers takes place. Learn about the program and the vision Samantha has going forward. All donations go towards providing Little Foragers with the equipment and gear they need to be successful outdoor learners.

If a child is to keep alive their inborn sense of wonder, they need the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with them the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in.
