Little Foragers has partnered with The Madeline Island Library to provide scholarship funding for island families. This guarantees all families access to affordable programming that promotes outdoor education and community partnership.

What Your Funds Go
Towards
Enrollment Fee
The cost of the program is $100 per day (9-3pm) providing programming twice a week (Tues/Thur). The program operates on a sliding scale to remain affordable to all families.
Equipment
Outdoor education is a wonderful mix of minimalist learning and essential gear. To be able to teach outdoor immersion, gear can make or break the experience. Little Foragers strives to provide sustainable and quality gear. Little Foragers Amazon Wishlist.
Partnership Programming
Madeline Island has an abundance of creative thinkers and do-ers. By providing financial support you are allowing us to expand our programming to include additional programming and connect children with community members.

1 day of programming: $100
1 week of programming: $200
1 month of programming: $800
June-August programming: $2,400

The Madeline Island Library is currently working to help assist families with Summer 2024 tuition. Little Foragers is currently only accepting full-time island residents. We look forward to expanding to more students in the future!

If you would like to donate specifically to the Little Foragers Scholarship Fund, please give a tax deductible donation to the Madeline Island Library. They have set up a designated fund that will be used for Little Foragers tuition.

One way to give in 2024 is to join Samantha on Sunday, September 22nd for an open house mushroom foray and picnic on site where Little Foragers takes place. Learn about the program and the vision Samantha has going forward. All donations go towards providing Little Foragers with the equipment and gear they need to be successful outdoor learners.
